Fall has come to my town.
It sets the leafs on fire.
Their flaming colors warm my heart.
Today the autumn storm sends them flying.
Like bright confetti in the wind,
they come tumbling down.
Down from the tall trees,
onto the pavement,
where they again catch my eye.
I pick one up and bring it home to me,
to let it warm my heart,
just a little longer.
